Are consumers’ rights protected in the RA? Is integration into European Union beneficial for Armenia? Does Armenian government support the relationship between Armenian Diaspora and local Armenians? Are monuments of historical and cultural value protected within the territory of Armenia? These were the four topics our participants expressed their opinions on during the National Debate Championship.

Civic initiative seminars were conducted right before the National Debate Championship to contribute to preparatory works of participants. 

"Youth Engaged in Society" Project team cordially invites everyone to be present at the National Debate Championship, which will take place on May 4th, 5th and 6th in Armenia Marriott Hotel.

Throughout March, 2010 YES debate club members had an opportunity to visit OSCE Yerevan office, UN Office in Armenia and had a meeting with the representative of the World Bank at AUA.

All debate clubs successfully completed The Interschool debates stage and now are looking to the National debate championship.

Due to the efficiency and success of "Youth Engaged in Society" (YES) project participant schools list was enlarged with 26 new schools from Ashtarak, Masis and Artashat, as well as schools from Lernagog, Qarakert and Dalarik villages. 

On August 19-21 in Armenia Marriott Hotel TOT was organized for the teachers/mentors of the new schools. Those trainings served as basis for spreading debate culture in new 26 schools.
