Interschool Debates

The stage of Interschool debates is one of the most important stages of "Youth Engaged in Society" project. All the debate clubs of every participant town take part in the Interschool debates competition.

Upon completion of Interschool debates the best team of each town is selected, the rest of the teams are awarded with certificates in different nominations, such as "The most sharp questioning team", "The best preparatory work", "The best teamwork", "The most progressive team", "The most original individual manner", etc.

Each year the penal of judges for Interschool Debates are interviewed and shortlisted by YES project staff. After the selection process is completed judges undergo certain trainings to get acquainted to the project and get skills needed for debate evaluation.

YFA staff also conducts book raising with the purpose to encourage participants. As a result lots of books, CDs and brochures were donated by different local and international organizations and were disseminated among all the teams. Donated publications are a huge income for raising students’ knowledge in different spheres which also contributes to quality of our debates.

THERE ARE NO WINNERS, active and successful participation in the interschool debate championship make all the teams equal, as they gain knowledge and become more skillful. Our Congratulations to everyone!
